At 11.00am this morning, a BERSIH delegation went to Istana Negara to deliver a letter to DYMM Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Alwathiqubillah Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin ibni Almarhum Sultan Mahmud Almuktafi Billah Shah.

The purpose of the letter was to inform Tuanku about a procession going to the Istana on Saturday, 10 November 2007, to hand over a memorandum. The Istana then asked BERSIH to submit the names of the delegation who will be handing over the memorandum.
BERSIH sees this as a positive response from the Istana.
