KUALA TERENGGANU, SUN: A 16-year-old youth from Kampung Tok Dir in Bukit Payong, Marang, turned himself in at the Kuala Terengganu police station 24 hours after his picture appeared in major newspapers.
The student of a private religious school of Binjai Bongkok in Marang, was among nine sought by the police to assist in their investigations in connection with a riot on Sept 9.
The youth whose identity was withheld by the police, turned up alone at the station at 10.15am.
