Tian Chua's bail extended to Jan 2

KUALA LUMPUR: Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) information chief Tian Chua, who was released on police bail after his arrest at Parliament House, had his bail extended Wednesday.

Tian Chua was among 17 people whose bail was extended until Jan 2.
He was among others who turned up at the courthouse on Wednesday and was informed of the extension by the police.
On Dec 11, police arrested 29 people – among them PKR and PAS leaders – at Parliament when they showed up to submit a Bersih (Coalition for Clean and Fair Elections) memorandum to protest the Constitution (Amendment) Bill to extend Election Commission members’ retirement age from 65 to 66.
