KUALA LUMPUR: Two senior Pas officials have lodged reports alleging wrongful detention by the police. The party’s vice-president, Mohamad Sabu, and its election director, Datuk Mustafa Ali, lodged the reports at the Dang Wangi police station yesterday.

Speaking to reporters, Mohamad Sabu said he was treated like a criminal when he was arrested at the Bukit Tambun toll plaza on Dec 9. He was charged in the Nibong Tebal magistrate’s court on Dec 12 with obstructing police. He claimed trial.
