Notice of Official Launch
CSI-Parliament is a grouping of civil society organizations which has been established to act as a catalytic agent for parliamentary reform and to enhance the standard of politics and governance in Malaysia.
Details of the official launch of this national advocacy organization which will be attended by representatives of participating CSOs are as follows:
Launch Date: Feb 1, 2008 (Friday)
Time: 10 am
Venue: KL-Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall, 1 Jalan Maharajalela, K.L.
The launch ceremony will witness the release of the official statement of principles of the organization as well as the unveiling of a common CSI-Parliament election pamphlet intended for dissemination in various languages throughout the country.  It will also introduce various independent candidates who will participate in the coming elections and who are endorsing the CSI-Parliament statement of principles.
Members of the public, supporters of this initiative and media representatives are kindly invited to attend the launch ceremony.
