BERSIH has received more emails in the past week pertaining to fraudulent registrations:
1. Miss Tai who went to the post office in Tesco Puchong on to try to register as a voter found that she was registered in Kampung Paya, Port Dickson.
2. Mr. Kenny told us about his uncle who went to the post office with a lady friend at Tesco in Pandan Indah, Cheras on 5 Feb 2008 to try and register as voters. Both had never registered to vote before. Kenny’s uncle was able to, but his friend was told that she was already a registered voter in the parliamentary constitutency of Bukit Bintang.
IF YOU ARE A VICTIM OR KNOW OF ANYONE WHO HAS BEEN A VICTIM OF FRAUDULENT REGISTRATION, PLEASE INFORM US IMMEDIATELY. IT IS ALSO ADVISABLE THAT YOU LODGE AN OFFICIAL COMPLAINT WITH THE ELECTION COMMISSION.
