IPOH: Come polling day this Saturday, 50 taxis will ply the streets of Ipoh to ferry voters to their polling stations to cast their votes, free of charge.
Ipoh City Taxi Operators Association secretary Leong Yew said this was the association’s way of showing support for Barisan Nasional.
“The service is free and there will be at least two taxis at each polling station to ferry the voters,” he said, adding that priority would be senior citizens and women.
Speaking at a press conference here Tuesday, Leong also urged association members to vote for Barisan.
