Fairus says it again: I quit

Former Penang deputy chief minister Mohammad Fairus Khairuddin has today reiterated his decision to resign as Penanti assemblyperson.
“I reaffirm my earlier stand to resign as Penanti assemblyperson and pledge full support for the PKR leadership under Anwar Ibrahim,” he said in a statement issued by the party’s information bureau this afternoon.
