Immediate comment by DAP Socialist Youth (DAPSY) National Chairman and MP for Rasah Loke Siew Fook on 11 May 2009 (Monday) at Petaling Jaya:
DAPSY welcomes the judgement made by the Kuala Lumpur High Court today which rules that Datuk Seri Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin is the legitimate Menteri Besar of Perak.

This judgement proves that Pakatan Rakyat’s efforts to uphold the rule of law and the democratic institution in this crisis have been vindicated.
The people of Perak have had an illegal government since February of this year and they must now be given their rightful chance to elect the legitimate government.
We hope the Sultan of Perak will respect the judgement of the KL high court today and respect the rights of the legitimate MB to request for the dissolution of the state assembly. Now that the court has made the judgement, the best way out of this crisis is to dissolve the state assembly and return the democratic rights to the people of Perak.
