Tuan Khairy Jamaluddin [ Rembau ] to ask the PRIME MINISTER to state whether the government intends to amend the Election Act 1958 by imposing penalty on political parties concerned to prevent elected representatives from vacating their seats without reasonable cause and making a mockery of the nation’s democratic practise and principle.
