The fight for the Hulu Selangor parliamentary seat turned bloody as leaders and supporters from both BN and Pakatan sufferred injuries in the midst of all the jostling this morning.
On the BN side, MIC president S Samy Vellu, Perak speaker R Ganesan and fellow party leader P Panchamorthy snagged themselves onto the barb wire placed to separate Pakatan and BN supporters.
Samy was passing through the narrow opening at the barricade leading to the nomination centre when the excited crowd led him to trip onto the wires.
