BERSIH 2.0 wishes to update the public on the total received from your kind donations for the “Keluar Mengundi, Lawan Penipuan” campaign so far.
In just two weeks since we launched the campaign on 23 August, we have received RM 93,826.83 from Malaysians of all walks of life. Some donated RM1 while many others donated RM10, RM20 or even RM100. All of it helps to carry forward our efforts of dealing with the wave of attacks against the BERSIH 2.0 Steering Committee as well as supporters of BERSIH 2.0, and some of the funds are also being used to help us in educating the public on electoral reform issues in creative ways.
Thank you so much for your strong support. We hope more will continue to donate as our target for this campaign is RM250,000 to match the 250,000 brave Malaysians who came out to support BERSIH 3.0 on 28 April.
We will present another update on the amounts received in two weeks.
