The committees have been working tirelessly in recent weeks to ensure the convoys can bring the message of democratic reform to the rakyat safely and peacefully.
All the coordinators have complied with the provisions under the Peaceful Assembly Act to provide ten days notice for the flag off and end points. Each committee has also organised their own security, medical and legal assistance for the convoy participants.
BERSIH 2.0 believes the hard work of these patriotic individuals are an inspiration to Malaysians across the country to stand up against abuse of power and corruption. Come 1st October, the rakyat will stand behind these Malaysians and lend their support to the wave of yellow sweeping the country.
Further information of the convoy for the upcoming weeks will be periodically posted on www.bersih.org/konvoi. Citizens who are interested to take part in the convoy can visit that page to find out the routes and time.
Those that are unable to join the convoy are encouraged to wear their yellow BERSIH 5 T-shirts every Saturday to show their support.
