Bersih 2.0 Congratulates New Leadership of ABIM and ENGAGE
The Coalition for Clean and Fair Elections (Bersih 2.0) would like to congratulate the deputy chairperson of BERSIH 2.0, Muhammad Faisal Abdul Aziz for being elected as the new president of Muslim Youth Movement Malaysia (ABIM) during its Annual General Meeting held on 25th-27th October 2019.
We also have the pleasure to congratulate Prof Wong Chin Huat, a former steering committee member and currently a resource person of BERSIH 2.0, for being elected as the new chairperson of ENGAGE to lead for the remaining term of 2019-2022.
Both ABIM and ENGAGE are endorsing organizations of BERSIH 2.0. We look forward to working with the new leadership of ABIM and ENGAGE more closely in the future, especially on the advocacy for electoral reforms in order to realise free and fair elections in Malaysia.
